Bienvenue dans le voisinage
Bienvenue dans le voisinage – unter diesem Motto lädt eine neue Ausstellungsreihe des Saarlandmuseums dazu ein, den Austausch der Kunstinstitutionen in der Großregion zu stärken und ihre Sammlungen einer breiteren und transnationalen Sichtbarkeit zu öffnen. Künstler und Künstlerinnen der Region setzen als Gastkuratoren und -kuratorinnen ihr Werk in Dialog mit von ihnen ausgewählten Referenzwerken aus den Museumssammlungen in Saarbrücken, Luxemburg und Lothringen.
Ingeborg Knigge
Die Saarbrücker Fotografin und Kunstpreisträgerin des Saarlandes Ingeborg Knigge (geb. 1955) setzt ihr eigenes Werk in Beziehung zu Arbeiten von Ana Rita António (MUDAM Luxembourg), Émile Friant (Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nancy) und K.R.H. Sonderborg (Moderne Galerie).
Die sehr unterschiedlichen Werke dieser Künstler und Künstlerinnen konfrontiert sie mit ihrem eigenen Langzeit-Projekt ,,Have you done your duty'' und lädt so zu neuen Seherlebnissen und Perspektivwechseln ein.
