A MEMORY THING
Ausstellung und Aufführungen von Alfred Gulden & Christof Thewes
Gulden/Thewes - unter diesem Label, in dieser Kombination arbeiten der Posaunist und Komponist Christof Thewes und der Schriftsteller und Filmer Alfred Gulden seit nunmehr fast 30 Jahren zusammen.
Aus Texten von Gulden und der Musik von Thewes sind über 20 Werke in verschiedensten Besetzungen entstanden, beispielsweise für Duo ("KehlKopfGedichte/ voice box poems"), Quartett ("Das Ding Erinnerung"), Quintett ("Glück auf: Ins Gebirg!"), bis zu big band ("Greyhound", "Silvertowers") oder Werke für Chor, Solisten und Jazzgruppen in szenischer Gestaltung ("Siebenschmerzen", UA Theatre National de Luxembourg, oder "Cattenom", Saarl Staatstheater /Feuerwache). Dazu entstanden auch Musikfilme wie "Die Kleine Maghrebinerin", "Brockn", "Tote Strecken".
All das wird in Dokumenten (in Schrift und Bild, Film und Ton) aber auch in Live-Aufführungen zu sehen, zu hören und zu erleben sein.
