The Völklingen Ironworks is the world's only authentically preserved ironworks from the heyday of the iron and steel industry. It attracts visitors from all over the world.The accessible ironworks park offers visitors a 5,000 metre trail leading through an impressive world of engineering and industrial culture from the early 20th century.
The Völklingen Ironworks also offers a varied programme of changing exhibitions and cultural events. From impressive art installations to photography exhibitions, there's always something new to discover.
