The cultural centre is located on the former railway site to the north of Saarbrücken's main railway station in a historic training and canteen building. Artists and cultural professionals work in 20 work and project rooms in the studio centre. Exhibitions, events and collaborations with regional and national cultural institutions take place in the former canteen.Young art and culture in particular is promoted and communicated here. The main idea behind the concept is to organise interdisciplinary projects that bring together different forms of expression, genres and styles of visual, performing and multimedia art.
