Huge sandstone formations, rugged rock walls adorned with green moss curtains and engraved reliefs, caves and gorges:The rock trails in the Saarbrücken district of St. Arnual are among the most interesting and attractive hiking trails in Saarbrücken's forests, thanks to the geological formations and diverse plant life.
The combination of natural landmarks and adjacent forest provides a unique hiking experience.
The marked 1.5-kilometer hike currently takes you through the Upper and Middle Rock Trails.
Note: The Lower Rock Trail is currently closed! On-site, display boards in both German and French provide information about the geology. Sturdy footwear is strongly recommended for this hike.
