Burbach Forest Pond

A leisurely walk in a pleasant atmosphere

Your tour starts at the parking lot in Weyerbachtal. From there, the walking path takes you all the way around the pond, providing a close-up nature experience.

There are resting spots that offer the opportunity to enjoy the various wetland areas, streams and the tranquility of the pond, allowing you to escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of Saarbrücken.

A restaurant with barbecue facilities, as well as the open barbecue hut on the western shore, provide ideal conditions for a family outing. The restaurant at the Fischerhütte also offers a variety of dishes and has a children's playground, making it perfect for the whole family.

If you're not done with your outdoor adventure, you can continue your hike into the Saarkohlewald (Saar Coal Forest) towards Von der Heydt and Köllerbach.
