The second-largest venue of the Saarland State Theatre.
Formerly used as a gymnasium by the Turnerbund St. Johann, the building has been a theatre venue since 1982. The venue can accommodate a maximum of 240 seats with flexible seating arrangements.Primarily used for drama performances, the Alte Feuerwache (Old Fire Station) also hosts ballet evenings, opera performances and concerts. In addition to guest performances, the introduction matinees and soirées are the most important special events.
