One of the oldest buildings in the city.
The Old Bridge, built by Charles V in 1546, is one of the oldest buildings in the city.It connects the districts of Alt-Saarbrücken and St. Johann. Of the original 14 arches, eight still remain. Damaged during World War II, it was restored and shortened during the early 1960s when the city freeway was constructed.
