The former artisan and worker's houses have been transformed into an idyllic place.
Some of them were built adjacent to the former city wall. Since 1978, the alley has been predominantly restored in the Baroque style. Restaurants with charming courtyards and small boutiques invite you to linger.At the end of Fröschengasse (Saarstraße), the high-water marks bear witness to Saarbrücken's location along the river.
