The alpacas in the "Almet" recreational area bring a smile to your face.

They curiosuly extend their long necks to visitors and the wool on their heads looks freshly styled, like it just came from the hairdresser. But above all, the Saarbrücken alpacas charm with their lovable nature.

The serenity of these South American quadrupeds is also influenced by their surroundings: Our alpacas live on a farm in the recreational area "Almet," just outside the city, alongside llamas, donkeys and camels.

There, experiences like guided hikes, children's birthdays with animal companions and nature education are part of the diverse offerings. And in the farm shop, you can find alpaca wool to give as a gift or keep for yourself: soft and warming, perfect for your next favorite sweater.
